Cornwall Beach Soccer Launch Weekend 📅 Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May 📍 Porthmeor Beach, St Ives
This exciting weekend, hosted by Cornwall FA in partnership with England Beach Soccer, marks the official launch of beach soccer ahead of the inaugural 2025 Summer Series, proudly supported by our equipment providers, FORZA.

Saturday 17th May: A day dedicated to learning and development for coaches and referees on the stunning Porthmeor Beach.
Highlights include:
Coaching Expertise: England Beach Soccer’s former head coach, FIFA-accredited Instructor, and UEFA Licensed Coach, Luke Kerr, will lead sessions focusing on the fundamentals of beach soccer, including drills tailored to playing on sand, effective warm-up techniques, tactics, match scenarios, rules, and coaching methodologies.
Referee Training: FIFA-trained referee Kish Kishto will host sessions designed for referees, covering essential skills such as positioning, communication, match situations, and handling controversies.

This combination of practical and theoretical learning promises to equip participants with the tools to elevate their beach soccer knowledge and skills.
Sunday 18th May: Get ready for an exhilarating day featuring a CPD session and an exhibition match as England Women take on a Cornwall Women’s Representative team. This event promises to be an unforgettable highlight of the weekend!

Cornwall FA is thrilled to invite you to experience this spectacular occasion, set against the stunning scenery of St Ives, marking the start of an exciting summer of beach soccer.
Sunday 18th May Schedule:
Youth Tournaments: The day kicks off with two engaging tournaments showcasing talented youth teams from Cornwall.
Main Event: Witness the highly anticipated match as 2-time European Champions, England Women, take on a Cornwall Women’s Representative side in an exciting exhibition game.
