Corinthian Casuals BSC storm to National League victory in debut season

Corinthians wrap up convincing win in the final to secure the England National League and qualifier for the Euro Winners in 2020.

Corinthian Casuals secured victory in the Super Finals held at Lee Valley, the home to England Beach Soccer and qualify for the Euro Winners. They also wrapped up Most Valuable Goalscorer and Most Valuable Goalkeeper to cap off a very successful debut season.

“This is just the beginning of the journey. We're really proud of the lads and look forward to the next step into Europe.”

Hanna Newton, Corinthian Casuals Company Secretary

The Super Finals saw the four best teams in England face off in semi finals after three qualifying rounds held across the country. Portsmouth ranked fourth in the competition won an incredible game 7-6 coming from three goals down with five minutes to play to cause the first upset of the day against the Isle of Wight. Corinthians meanwhile beat Eastleigh BS to secure their place in the final. The final saw a cagey opening period with Casuals sneaking 2-1 ahead. They then pulled further ahead to eventually win 5-1 and secure the trophy.
