Mitch Day celebrates 150 caps in style….

Mitchell Day celebrated his 150th cap this week with a stunning overhead kick, only to do the same sequence of events the following day on his 151st cap with another well executed bicycle kick....

Mitch started playing beach soccer over 20 years ago on the Isle of Wight winning the super cup with the Shanklin Sharks where he then went onto to play for England with his first cap in 2005 versus Turkey followed by his first goal against Holland in the same year.

Luke Kerr Director at England Beach Soccer commented to say "We are extremely proud of Mitch who has shown so much resilience over the past 20 years learning his trade both home and abroad and for us he's a true role model to the next generation of beach soccer players, he's had his knock backs over the years and always comes back bigger and stronger, he's now the complete beach soccer player and we hope to see Mitch continue to inspire many more children wanting to playing the game and scoring more bikes for England in the coming tours and years"
